Britax Römer Pivot Link System
In the event of an accident, our patented Pivot Link ISOFIX system reduces the forward movement of the child seat and directs the forces mainly downwards. This means that the force of the impact is cushioned by the car seat cushion and the risk of head and neck injuries is significantly reduced.

5-point belt system
We are convinced that a 5-point harness system is the best way to protect your child in a car seat. Because it optimally secures your child in the protective shell of the seat. In the event of a collision, the belt system distributes the forces that act in the event of a collision to 5 points and reduces them: at the shoulders, the hips and at the buckle between the legs. This way your child is protected from all sides in an accident.

Soft neoprene special shoulder pads
Our soft neoprene special shoulder pads nestle pleasantly to your child's body. In the event of an impact, they not only reduce the forward displacement of your child - they also make the 5-point harness even more comfortable. You can also easily remove them for washing without having to intervene in the harness system.

Unique protection for neck and chest
Despite good planning and careful driving - you are never prepared for a collision. To protect the sensitive neck area of your child, Britax Römer has developed a shock-absorbing foam cushion - the XP-PAD. It prevents your child's chin from hitting the chest and reduces the forces acting on it by up to 30%*. This reduces head movement forward and protects the neck. SecureGuard
The SecureGuard helps to provide extra protection for your child's sensitive abdominal area - thanks to an additional 4th attachment point of the 3-point car belt for adults. By optimally positioning the lap belt over your child's pelvic bones, the SecureGuard reduces the forces exerted in a frontal impact by up to 35%* while allowing your child sufficient freedom of movement while driving.*Internal Britax tests with a Q6 dummy that is equivalent in height and weight to an average 6-year-old child.

Side impact protection - SICT
In the event of a side impact, your child is well protected thanks to our side impact protection technology (SICT). This is because the forces to which your child is exposed in the event of a side impact are diverted away from him or her, and they are attenuated before they reach your child. To ensure that your child is optimally protected, SICT technology should be used on the side facing the door.

Protection thanks to high backrest
Our child seats with backrest protect your child in three ways: the seat shell protects your child from head to hip, especially in the event of a side impact. At the same time, the upper and lower belt guides ensure that the vehicle belt is in the right place and the padded headrest provides safety and comfort for your child's head and neck.

V-shaped headrest
Our V-shaped headrest is specially designed to keep the movement of the child's sensitive head in control in the event of a side impact. This not only provides optimum protection but also a great deal of comfort. You can also easily adjust the headrest and harness system from the front of the seat, so that both fit your child's size perfectly.

Top TetherIn the event of a collision, the Top Tether reduces the rotation of the child seat, thus reducing possible injuries to the head and neck area. Thanks to the double anchorage points, our v-shaped Top Tether offers even more stability and safety for your child than conventional Tether systems.

EasyRecline
EasyRecline is suitable for all age groups and allows you to adjust the seat to different comfortable sitting positions. Even while your child is sitting in the seat and without readjusting the Top Tether - very comfortable for child and parents

FLIP&GROW
When your child has reached a minimum of 15 kg and a maximum of 18 kg, you must switch from the integrated 5-point belt to the 3-point vehicle belt to secure your child in the child seat. Thanks to the FLIP&GROW function, this is now possible in a few simple steps. Simply adjust the headrest and stow the harness in the backrest so that it does not get lost.Then adjust the FLIP&GROW conversion plate with the SecureGuard and you are ready to go.

Quickly removable cover
Sometimes things get pretty chaotic on the street. It's easy to spill a drink or your child might get sick from driving. With wise foresight, we have developed a machine-washable seat cover that can be easily removed without removing the seatbelt. This child seat must be secured to the ISOFIX anchorage points of your car. ISOFIX is a standard system for anchorage points in almost all vehicles. Special requirements for ADVANSAFIX i-SIZE: The safe installation of the seat is only complete when a Top Tether (extra belt) is used, as this provides optimum stability. Britax Römer's i-Size seats fit all vehicle seat positions approved for i-Size. Please check your vehicle manual to see if your car has such approved vehicle seat positions.

With seat belt and ISOFIX attachment (100 - 150 cm)
This child seat must be installed in your car with the car's 3-point belt and ISOFIX anchorage points. This ensures that the child seat is securely fastened in the car - even if your child is not sitting in it.

With belt (100 - 150 cm)
This child seat can be installed with the vehicle's 3-point belt. This is handy if you want to install the child seat in different cars that may not all have ISOFIX anchorage points. The belt guides on the car seat will help you install the child seat correctly. Refer to your car manual to find the appropriate seat positions for your car.
