The yarn of the high-quality Stokke® Steps™ Baby Set Pillow Nordic Gray is dyed with plant extracts from ripe acorns and woad root. This is done without the use of hazardous chemicals, without waste water and with low environmental impact in EcoSmart technology. There is no waste water in the ultrasonic dyeing process and water consumption is significantly lower compared to conventional methods. Low temperatures and shorter exposure times when dyeing mean that significantly less energy is used and fewer emissions are produced than with conventional processes.
