VERSAFIX - CONTINUOUS SAFETY FOR ALL

The VERSAFIX was developed so that children from 15 months to 12 years can travel safely. It is approved in accordance with the new i-Size regulation and offers even more safety and maximum flexibility. You can rely on it! The seat can be converted from a child seat with a 5-point harness to a 3-point harness in the vehicle in just a few simple steps. With the 5-point harness, your child is particularly well protected up to a height of 105 cm (max. 22 kg).

i-SIZE: SAFETY FOR SMALL AND TALL
In the VERSAFIX, your child is particularly safe - from toddler age until they no longer need a child seat. Reassuring to know: The VERSAFIX is approved in accordance with the new i-Size regulation. And the 5-point harness is suitable for children up to 105 cm (max. 22 kg). This means even more safety for your child.

FLEXIBILITY AT YOUR HAND
Thanks to the FLIP&GROW function, you can easily switch between the integrated 5-point harness and the vehicle's 3-point harness as your child grows. And since nothing needs to be removed from the seat, you can switch back to the 5-point harness at any time. Thanks to the EasyRecline function, you can adjust the built-in seat to different, comfortable reclining positions - without having to readjust the top tether. Just the way that is most comfortable for your child.

FLIP&GROW
When your child has reached at least 100 cm and a maximum of 105 cm (max. 22 kg), you need to switch from the integrated 5-point belt to the 3-point vehicle belt to secure your child in the child seat. Thanks to the FLIP&GROW function, this is now possible in just a few simple steps. Simply adjust the headrest and stow the harness in the backrest so that it doesn't get lost. Then adjust the FLIP&GROW adjustment plate with the SecureGuard and you're ready to go.

QUICKLY REMOVABLE COVER
Sometimes things can get pretty chaotic on the road. It's easy to spill a drink or your child might feel sick from driving. With this in mind, we have developed a machine-washable seat cover that can be easily removed without having to remove the harness. This means you can get the seat clean again quickly - and you can get back on the road.

NEW ISOFIX CONNECTORS
The VERSAFIX features our new ISOFIX connectors. The connectors can be operated independently of each other, making installation easier.

5-point harness system
We are convinced that a 5-point harness system is the best way to protect your child in the car seat. This is because it optimally secures your child in the protective shell of the seat. In the event of a collision, the belt system distributes the forces that occur in the event of an impact over 5 points and reduces them: on the shoulders, hips and on the belt buckle between the legs. This means your child is protected from all sides in the event of an accident.

SPECIAL SOFT SHOULDER PADS
Our special soft shoulder pads nestle comfortably against your child's body. In the event of a collision, they not only reduce the forward displacement of your child - they also make the 5-point harness even more comfortable. The pads can also be easily removed for washing without having to interfere with the harness system.

SECUREGUARD
The SecureGuard helps to provide extra protection for your child's sensitive tummy area - thanks to an additional 4th attachment point. By optimally positioning the lap belt over your child's pelvic bones, the SecureGuard reduces the forces acting in the event of a frontal impact by up to 35%* and at the same time gives your child sufficient freedom of movement during the journey. *Internal Britax tests with a Q6 dummy that corresponds to the height and weight of an average 6-year-old child.

PROTECTION THANKS TO THE HIGH BACKREST
Our child seats with backrest protect your child in three ways: the seat shell protects your child from head to hips, especially in the event of a side impact. At the same time, the upper and lower belt guides ensure that the vehicle belt is in the right place and the padded headrest provides safety and comfort for your child's head and neck.

V-SHAPED HEADREST
Our V-shaped headrest has been specially designed to control the movement of your child's sensitive head in the event of a side impact. It therefore not only offers optimum protection but also a great deal of comfort. In addition, the headrest and harness system can be easily adjusted from the front of the seat to suit your child's size.

TOP TETHER
In the event of a collision, the Top Tether reduces the rotation of the child seat and thus reduces possible injuries to the head and neck area. Thanks to the double anchorage points, our v-shaped top tether offers even more stability and safety for your child than conventional tether systems.

EASYRECLINE
EasyRecline is suitable for all age groups and allows the seat to be adjusted to various comfortable resting positions. Even while your child is sitting in the seat and without having to readjust the top tether - very convenient for both child and parent.

Installation

ISOFIX with Top Tether (76 - 105 cm)
This child seat must be attached to the vehicle's ISOFIX anchorage points. ISOFIX is a standard system for securing child seats that is used in almost all vehicles. This ensures that the child seat is securely fastened in the car at all times. Special requirements for VERSAFIX: Secure installation of the seat is only complete when a top tether (additional belt) is used, as this ensures optimum stability. Our i-Size seats fit all vehicle seat positions approved for i-Size. Possible i-Size seat positions in the vehicle can be identified using the vehicle handbook.

With belt and ISOFIX attachment (100 - 150 cm)
This child seat must be installed in the vehicle using both the vehicle's 3-point belt and the ISOFIX anchorage points. This ensures that the child seat is securely fastened in the car at all times - even when no child is sitting in it. You can find out whether the child seat is compatible with the respective vehicle using the type list or our FIT FINDER®.

With belt (100 - 150 cm)
This child seat can be installed using the vehicle's 3-point belt. This is practical if the seat is used in different cars, which may not all have ISOFIX anchorage points. The belt guides on the child seat help to install it correctly. Suitable vehicle seat positions can be found in the vehicle manual. We recommend a trial installation (by a Britax Römer trained employee) at a local dealer before purchase.
