Products description
This jacket takes on every adventure. The finely crafted boiled wool is particularly hard-wearing. The dense surface that boiled wool is known for keeps the wind out and your child's skin warm. In addition to the natural insulating properties of wool, the neck, shoulder and hood sections of the jacket have a fine lining made from organic cotton. Because the most important thing is that your child doesn't freeze outside on a game day and that the head area in particular is protected.
The back of the boiled wool jacket is extended so that your sweetheart's back is not exposed when crawling and bending over.
The jacket also has a large hood that is adapted to the shape of the child's head. The pockets used offer enough space for small treasures and finds. Thanks to the matching, large corozo buttons, the jacket can be put on quickly with both small and large hands. So you can start right away.

The special properties of wool
Wool keeps you particularly warm because its naturally crimped fiber traps a lot of air. In addition, it is temperature-regulating and releases excess body heat to the cooler environment. Wool is therefore particularly suitable for textile processing.
Pure new wool also absorbs up to a third of its own weight in moisture vapor without feeling damp. At the same time, thanks to its lanolin content, the fiber protects against external moisture and allows drops of water to roll off the surface. Another main advantage of wool is its high resilience, which makes it practically wrinkle-free. And since wool does not charge electrostatically, it hardly attracts dirt and odors.
Care for Disana wool products
The chemical structure of wool is very similar to that of human hair. Therefore, as with washing your hair, cleaning should be as gentle as possible.
Since wool hardly absorbs dirt, the scales on the fiber surface literally repel dirt. Wool clothing only needs to be washed seldom, airing it out is usually enough. However, if woolen items have to be washed, natural wool should always be cleaned by hand at a maximum of 30 degrees. In addition, wool is sensitive to alkalis and therefore also to soap. To wash the wool, use a special wool detergent, e.g. disana wool shampoo.
To avoid matting, wool should not be soaked, rubbed, wrung, or brushed. Simply push through lightly with your hand. Drying in the sun, on the radiator or even in the tumble dryer is more likely to damage the fibres. It is best to place the wool item on a dry terry towel and let it dry in a shady, well-ventilated place.
